It is our mission to provide the best service, staff, and equipment, to fully meet the various levels and needs of our players. 
Mission Statement
Our goal has always been to provide the best in professional hitting, pitching, fielding and catching instruction. We have compiled a year-round staff of some of the finest skill coaches in the area.
Our staff specializes in teaching players of all ages and of various ability levels. Over 60% of our staff are certified NYS teachers. This enables our instructors to not only have the knowledge and experience of the sport, but the ability to teach our methodology in a manner that relates to children of all ages. This unique yet professional instruction enhances their abilities as a complete player. Our teachers can connect the pieces so that no matter what ability level our players are at when they enter the academy we can optimize their potential.
Storm Baseball Academy is a full service year-round baseball training facility located in West Hempstead, New York. Mike Leiderman opened this indoor training facility in the fall of 2003 following the 15 year success of his semi-professional baseball team. The Long Island Storm baseball team is one of the best semi-professional organizations in the country. Over the years, the Long Island Storm has won over 50 tournaments and eight national championships. There have been over 100 professional baseball players that have been a part of this organization since it was founded in 1987. History
We are the leaders in the area in providing year round professional baseball instruction to students of all ages. Our goal moving forward, will be to continue to offer the best in baseball instruction for players of all levels, while also providing a first class training facility for individuals and teams.
